Indication / Uses:

Corectin tablets are indicated in dogs and cats for the prevention and treatment of

• External Parasites
• Generalized demodecosis / Demodectic mange
• Sarcoptic mange / Sarcoptic acariasis / Scabies treatment
• Cheyletiellosis
• Internal Parasites
• Heartworm prevention and heartworm treatment for dogs

Doses and administration:

The recommended dose is 0.2 to 0.6 mg per/kg as per severity of infection.

Small dogs
6 – 10 kg b.wt. = 6 mg tablet

Medium Dogs
11-15 kg b.wt. = 10 mg tab
16-20 kg b.wt. = One tab. 10 mg + One tab 6 mg

Heavy Dogs
21-25 kg b.wt., 2 tab 10 mg
26-30 kg b.wt., 2 tab 10 mg + One tab 6 mg
31-35 kg b.wt., 3 tab 10 mg + One tab 6 mg

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Overdose may cause neurotoxicity / Ivermectin toxicity in dogs.
Avoid in pups and kitten below 6 months of age.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Normal precautions can be followed for storage.

Safety:

Not to be given to puppies less than 6 months of age or to nursing or pregnant bitches.
