Ingredients & Composition:

Each ml of Visio Tears Eye drops contains
Polyvinyl Alcohol USP                   14 mg
Povidone                                           6 mg
Chlorbutol                                         5 mg
Sterile Aqueous Vehicles               q.s.

Description / Action: 

Visio tear eye drop contains polyvinyl alcohol and povidone along with chlorbutol. Polyvinyl alcohol is a non-ionic surfactant is used as stabilizing agent, lubricant and increases viscosity of the preparation. Povidone has mucinomimetic properties. It helps in retaining the tears on cornea longer. It acts as artificial tear and eases dryness and soreness associated with keratoconjuctivitis sicca or dry eye conditions.

Indication / Uses:

Visio tears eye drop (polyvinyl alcohol and povidone eye drops) is indicated in the case of

• Dry eye
• KCS or Keratoconjuctivitis Sicca

Dosage and administration:

1 – 2 drops in the affected eyes as often as needed to relieve the irritation or dryness.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Overdosing has no known symptoms.

Adverse reaction may include problems like visual disturbance, cloudy vision or extreme redness of the corneal tissues. Do not use in pets having known history of adverse reaction for the product and immediately report to veterinarian in case of any adverse reaction.

Do not use the product in case of change in the color of eye drops or solution. Avoid touching the nozzle tip with hands or any surface to avoid contamination of solution. Use the eye drop bottle within one month of the opening and discard the bottle. Always follow your vet’s instruction for duration of the medication or treatment.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store in a cool and dry place at room temperature or below 25°C. Keep out of reach of the children. Strictly for veterinary use.

Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity or irritation due to product. Safe for breeding and lactating animal. Always follow the recommendations. It has no reported withdrawal side effects.
