40 mg vial in a monocarton with Sodium Chloride 0.9% w/v for Injection

Ingredients & Composition:

Each Combi pack contains

          A) 1 Vial of Pantoprazole for Injection BP

Each vial contains:
Pantoprazole Sodium (as lyophilized powder)
Equivalent to Pantoprazole         40 mg

B) 1 Ampoule of Sodium Chloride injection IP

Each ampoule contains:
Sodium Chloride IP 0.9% w/v
Water for injections IP q.s. to 10 ml

Description / Action: 

Navole Injection contains pantoprazole which is used as a short-term treatment of gastro oesophageal reflux (a condition in which backward flow of acid from the stomach) causes heartburn and possible injury of the oesophagus or to treat certain oesophagus or to treat certain oesophagus problems in dogs.

It has been used with human medicine for years and is growing in popularity for use in dogs.

Class: Antacid / Systemic Antacid

Indication / Usage:

It is indicated in dogs for the treatment of
• Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease
• Oesophagus injury
• Oesophagus problems

Dosage/ Administration:

0.7 to 1.0 mg per kg body weight once in 24 hours.

It should be administered slowly. For intravenous administration only. Give slowly over 15 minutes intravenously.

Or as directed by the veterinarian.

Directions for use:

Dissolve the contents of vials in 10 ml of sodium chloride solution provided with the pack.

The reconstituted solution should be used immediately after preparation.

Overdosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Do not give intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneously (SC). If any particle is visible in the vial after reconstitution of the contents, do not use the solution and discard it.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store at room temperature (below 25°C or 77°F). Keep the medicine out of reach of the children.  For veterinary use only.  Not for human use. Protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Do not freeze.
