Description / Action: 

KETOCHLOR Shampoo is an antiseptic and antifungal shampoo for dogs, cats and horses for the management of conditions responsive to Ketoconazole or Chlorhexidine. It is useful for the treatment of bacterial and fungal – associated dermatitis in dogs, cats and horse.

Anti-adhesive glycotechnology utilizes a unique combination of monosaccharides and an alkylpolyglucoside that reduces bacterial and yeast adhesion to the stratum corneum and enhances the efficacy of anti-microbial agents. This action physically disrupts micro-organism colonization on the skin surface and delays onset of irritation due to topical bacteria or yeast.

Chitosanide: It is a natural biopolymer present in the product creates a protective film on the skin and hair coat.

Dosage/ Administration/ Directions for Use:

Unscrew the cap and remove the induction seal before using the product. Shake well before using the shampoo.

Use warm water to wet the hair coat. Use enough amount of shampoo to produce a thick lather. Massage well into wet hair coat and lather freely. Rinse and repeat. Allow to remain on coat for 5 to 10 minutes and then rinse with clean water thoroughly. May be used initially 2 to 3 times a week for four weeks, then reducing once a week, or as directed by your veterinarian.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Not for otic use. If undue skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and consult a Registered Medical Practitioner.

Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C.
