Capsules:
Strip of 6 soft gel capsules
Monocarton of 5 strips

Oral Solution:
50 ml glass bottle in mono carton with calibrated dosing syringe

Ingredients & Composition:

Each soft gelatine capsule contains
Cyclosporine IP 50 mg or 100mg
Excipients          q.s.

Each ml of oral solution contains
Cyclosporine IP          100 mg
In a palatable base      q.s.

Description / Action: 

Ciclopet capsules and oral solution contain ciclosporin / cyclosporine. It suppresses the immune system by blocking T-cell proliferation through the inhibition of its key signaling phosphates calcineurin, called calcineurin inhibitors.

Ciclopet (cyclosporine) is effective in the chronic management of patients with atopic and in Anal Furunculosis.

Class: Immunosuppressive

Indication / Uses:

• Atopic Dermatitis,
• Autoimmune skin disorder,
• Perianal fistula,
• Inflammatory bowel disease

Dosage and administration:

5 mg/kg body weight per day
Or as directed by the veterinarian.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage and wash hands after use.

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Transient vomiting and diarrhoea may occur as most common side effects.  Immunosuppression can be associated with increased risk of malignancy.  Use with caution in dogs suffering from renal disease and diabetes.
Concurrent administration of azole antifungals (itraconazole and ketoconazole 5-10 mg/kg) will increase the blood concentration of ciclosporin (up to 5%) in dogs.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Keep in a dry place. Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light. Preserve in tight container. Do not refrigerate.
Keep the medicine out of reach of the children. Not for human use. For treatment of dogs and cats only.
Do not use if the seal is removed or broken. For your interest destroy the bottle after use.
Use the contents within 2 months after opening the bottle.

Not to be sold in retail without the prescription of a registered veterinary medical practitioner.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:

Do not use in dogs and cats less than 6 months of age. Not recommended in dogs less than 2 kg and cats less than 2.3 kg body weight.
