(Live and attenuated) Canine Distemper Virus (Rockborn strain)
Canine Adeno Virus Type 2 (Manhattan strain)
Canine Parvo Virus (780916-LP Cornell strain)
Canine Parainfluenza (D008 Cornell strain)

Indication / Uses:

CaniShot K5 is indicated for active immunization of healthy dogs against

  • Canine Distemper Virus,
  • Canine Adeno Virus Type 2 (Infectious Canine Hepatitis, Respiratory Disease)
  • Canine Parvo Virus and
  • Canine Parainfluenza Virus infections
  • Unique protection against Fatal 5 diseases

Dosage and administration:

1.0 ml (1 dose) S.C. After reconstitution with enclosed diluents

Initial vaccination: 6-7 weeks after birth

Second Vaccination: 8-9 weeks after birth

Third Vaccination: 11-14 weeks after birth

Booster Vaccination: Annually

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

As a general rule, only healthy dogs should be vaccinated. At the site of injection a diffuse swelling may be observed after subcutaneous administration. This swelling is usually transient and lasts for up to 3 days or more post-injection occasionally but may be hard and painful.

Hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store in a cool and dry place or refrigerator at 2-8°C. The cold chain should be maintained. Do not freeze. Protect from light.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:

Safety in lactating female or pregnant female dogs is not warned by the manufacturer.

Always follow the recommended dose.

Habit forming:  No, But Protocol should be followed according to the country guidelines.
