Description / Action:

PETZOLID 300 mg tablets contain Linezolid. It is an oxazolidinone antibiotic with lactic acid bacillus for MRSA, resistant skin infections, pyoderma and soft tissue infections for dogs and cats.

Indication / Uses

MRSA Skin Infections: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus pyoderma and deep tissue infections.

Beta-Lactam Resistant Staphylococcal Infections: When penicillins and cephalosporins have failed.

Resistant Streptococcal Infections: Streptococcal pyoderma and soft tissue infections resistant to conventional antibiotics.

Skin & Soft Tissue Infections (SSTIs): Deep pyoderma, abscesses, infected wounds when first-line antibiotics are ineffective.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to linezolid.

Avoid unnecessary use to minimize antimicrobial resistance.
Long-term therapy should be monitored with periodic hematological evaluation.
