Powder: Palatable powder in 70 g and 240 g jars.

Paste: Dosing syringe with 15 ml of palatable paste.

Description / Action: 

Renal P powder/paste contains chitosan (poly-D glucosamine), sodium bicarbonate and calcium salts. It is a complementary feed supplement for dogs and cats suffering from kidney disease. It supplements polysaccharides (chitosan) and minerals like calcium salts and sodium bicarbonate. These are useful in maintaining the animal’s normal metabolic conditions and proper urinary tract function.

Dosage/ Administration / Feeding Directions:

Palatable Powder:

Add RENAL P Powder to the regular feed at a rate of 0.2 g/kg of body weight per day, corresponding to the following daily doses:

Weight                                    Measuring spoons a day

Every 2.5 kg                 1 small levelled measuring spoon

Every 10 kg                  1 large levelled measuring spoon

The total daily dose can be divided into 2-3 parts based on the number of meals. Follow the veterinarian’s advice and administer the Renal P for 30-day cycles. Always prefer to add the product to wet food. In case of only dry food based diet, slightly moisten the food to ensure good adhesion of the Renal P powder and its complete intake. Before extending the period of administration it is recommended to seek the advice of a Veterinarian. Ensure availability of plenty of water at all times.

Palatable Paste:

Administer 1 ml of Renal P paste per 5 kg of body weight directly into the mouth or mixing it with the usual feed ration. RENAL P paste can be administered for a period of 30 days / cycles of 30 days, following the Veterinarian’s advice. Always seek the advice of a Veterinarian before use or before extending the duration of administration. Water should be available at all times.
