Description / Action:
VFcore UC Oral Paste (urinary & calming) for cats supports FIC, FLUTD, bladder health and stress relief with L-Theanine, Casozepine, Glucosamine & Cranberry.
In cats, stress and bladder disease are directly connected — stress triggers Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, and FIC causes more stress. VFCore UC breaks this cycle with 3 natural relaxants and bladder wall protection in one lickable paste.
Combining superior compounds with advanced innovation for comprehensive health benefit
L-Tryptophan
Will increase serotonin formation, a neurotransmitter plays a part in sleep-wakefulness cycles, mood, emotional and food behaviors.
L-Theanine
May reduce the binding of glutamine to glutamate receptors, help decreasing the activation of postsynaptic glutamate receptors.
Alpha-Casozepine
Acts on the GABA receptors, leading to reduction in nervous transmission and regulation of anxiety and stress.
Glucosamine
Supports and protects the bladder lining by strengthening the GAG layer against inflammation and irritants.
Cranberry Extract
Prevent the adhesion of bacteria in bladder wall. Supports urinary health.
Additional Scientific Support
Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC)
Feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC) is the most common bladder disorder of unknown cause that affects young to middle-aged cats. Studies indicate that cats affected by FIC exhibit abnormal stress management, resulting in increased neural sensitivity and pain perception compared to healthy cats, leading to recurrent cystitis.
Glucosamine & GAG Layer Support
Glucosamine helps reinforce the glycosaminoglycan layer in the bladder wall, promoting a healthy urinary tract barrier.
Casozepine Support
Casozepine treatment significantly reduced stress score in dogs compared with placebo after 2 days.
Class:
Therapeutic supplement paste | Urinary tract support supplement | Stress & calming nutraceutical | FIC support
Indication / Uses:
- Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC):
Straining, frequent urination, blood in urine, crying at the litter box — stress is the primary trigger and VFCore UC addresses both the cause and the bladder directly. - Stress-Related Behaviours in Cats:
Over-grooming, hiding, aggression, inappropriate elimination — 3 natural relaxants reduce the stress response driving these behaviours. - Cats with Recurrent FLUTD:
After each FIC episode — Glucosamine repairs the GAG bladder wall layer that was damaged, reducing the severity and frequency of the next episodes. - Multi-Cat Household Stress:
Inter-cat tension is a major FIC trigger — daily VFCore UC in all cats reduces the overall stress load in the household. - Environmental Changes & Events:
Moving house, new baby, new pet, fireworks — start 3–5 days before the known stressful event for best preventive effect.
