Description / Action: 

Pooch Nome Tablets contain Cefquinome Sulphate which is a veterinary, parenteral, fourth-generation Cephalosporin. It exhibits broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is the most advanced 4th generation cephalosporin to fight E-coli menace pets.

Class: Cephalosporin (4th generation)

Indication / Usage:

It is indicated in dogs and cats for the treatment of

  • Coli septicaemia (enteritis/pyometra/cystitis/mastitis),
  • Severe respiratory infections.


Dosage/ Administration / Feeding Directions:

1-2 mg/kg body weight once in a day or as directed by the veterinarian.

Overdosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

No serious side effects or adverse reactions have been reported. Do not use in the pets having known history of hypersensitivity towards Cefquinome or use with caution in pets having known history of hypersensitivity to Beta-lactam antibiotics. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

Withdrawal period: Applicable for food animals only which is 3 to 5 days.
